New York City

I grew up 30 minutes north of New York City. As a member of the Mason Tenders' union, I did construction work in Manhattan during the summers that I was studying architecture in college. But I never created photographs of the Big Apple ... until now.

Yellowstone

In late September of 2025, I joined a group of four accomplished photographers for a photography workshop led by Kathy Lichtendahl in and around Yellowstone National Park. My hope was to see a part of the U.S. that was new to me, learn some new skills, and return home with some fun wildlife shots and distinctive landscape images.

Venice

Aspen

I flew to Aspen, Colorado hoping to catch some great autumnal colors over the last weekend in September. I was not disappointed.

Alsace

We joined a group of nine other travelers and two guides on a five-day trip on e-bikes through the towns, vineyards, and farmlands of the Alsace region of France, starting out in Strasbourg (near the border with Germany).

Denmark

Driving into Copenhagen from the airport, we saw instantly why this is the most bicycle-friendly capital in the world. The investment in infrastructure has payed off handsomely, since they created the first bike lane in 1892! Today, year-round, 50% of all trips to work and school in Copenhagen are taken by bike.
